Pacific Heads of Health 2025

The Pacific Heads of Health (PHoH) meeting will convene on the 28th-30th of April, in Nadi Fiji. The main objective of the meeting is to review and discuss issues raised during the 15th Pacific Heads of Health meeting held in Samoa in April 2024 and to prepare for the Ministerial meeting that will take place in Samoa in September 2025. Outcomes and recommendations from the 16th Pacific Heads of Health meeting will be progressed to the Pacific Health Ministers Meeting.
The PHoH meeting is attended by 17 Pacific Heads of Health from Australia, Cook Islands, CNMI, FSM, Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
The Pacific Community (SPC) serves as the secretariat for the Pacific Heads of Health and is supported by the World Health Organisation (WHO) with funding support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
